Rachel is a Special Forces trained operative who works for a very clandestine organization that lives in the darkest of shadows, combating evil. On this latest mission she needs to combat a foreign entity intent to recover a device that would dramatically destabilize the middle east, if not the free world. By chance she teams up with three unlikely heroes, pilots from a local airport, who find themselves accidently entangled in an international game of espionage that could determine whether all of them live or die.
Rachel and the Aviators is an action based fictional tale that was an enjoyable book to read ! The author keeps the reader at the edge of their seat in this "Jason Bourne" type of adventure story. The three aviators not only survive a harrowing summer but learn things about themselves and their friends when a special agent, Rachel, enters the scene. Twists and turns constantly take place which are not predictable ! Overall this book was a tremendously fun story ! I highly recommend it for those that want an adrenaline filled story line !!!!
Rachel and the Aviators quickly caught my interest. The plot opens with a tight espionage setup that includes secret radar information and several agencies working on the same task, which makes the stakes feel high right away. I especially liked the cemetery exchange scene where Rachel spots the disguised handoff and launches into that wild motorcycle chase. That moment really shows how bold and impulsive she can be. Rachel stood out to me as the heart of the book. She’s tough, skilled, and honestly a little reckless, which made her feel real instead of perfect. I appreciated the plot's effective integration of espionage elements with action sequences set both in aerial and maritime environments, exemplified by the stormy New Jersey scenes and the intrigue surrounding the stolen stealth equipment. The pace stays fast, and sometimes it even feels like it's out of control, but that keeps things interesting. In general, it seemed like an entertaining thriller with a lot of action and a strong, brave main character. This story about spies is full of excitement and danger, so if you like that kind of thing, you'll enjoy it.
I had never read an action book, and I must say that I loved that Rachel and the Aviators was my first because it was awesome. It was fun, exciting and entertaining from the first page, it felt as if I was watching a movie. Actually, if it becomes a movie, I’d watch it! This book kept the suspense high and my interest at its peak. Rachel is the strong, determined woman that we all want to be and I loved it!
This was a thrilling read. Loved it. Rachel and the Aviators hooked me and i thought this would be a cool movie. The story jumps right into a high-stakes situation involving classified radar technology and multiple intelligence groups racing against each other, which creates tension from the very first chapter. Rachel is definitely the strongest part of the novel. Such a good character. She’s confident and highly capable, but she also makes impulsive decisions that sometimes put her in dangerous situations. That balance made her feel authentic rather than untouchable. I also enjoyed how the author blended espionage with dramatic settings, from intense aerial sequences to storm-filled coastal scenes in New Jersey!! Even though it was long, the pacing rarely slows down, which gives the story a sense of urgency throughout. I really liked this book.
At first the book was overbearing and then it I was exciting to read because I thought the book was a about a video game looking and reading the intro and front cover of the book. But it is a bout Rachel and three Aviators Guido, Charlie and Luke (the pilots) who set out on a mission to bring down secrets, and an island. It is like watching an action movie where the good guys take down a corporation and win. I really enjoyed it watching action movies is one of my favorite things. But however, reading looks have a bit more detail than movie does
Okay, first off Rachael is awesome! I won’t say a lot about why she’s awesome, you’ll just have to read the book. Get it! There’s plenty of action throughout the book, which will keep on the edge of your seat.
Rachel and the Aviators is an action packed tale! If you like action stories this is the book for you. It gives a 007 vibe. It’s a bit longer than other books I’ve recently read but it was definitely worth the read! I could easily imagine the characters, this story would actually make an awesome action movie! I loved the ending. Will there be more adventures???
This book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. Eat your heart out Laura Croft, and Ballerina, Rachael is here and she is coming with force. I love the way the author takes you into unknown worlds, with excitement around every corner.
An uplifting aviation novel about dreams that refuse to stay grounded. As Rachel pushes past limits and doubt, she discovers that the sky isn’t the destination. It’s the proving ground. A story of mentorship, faith, resilience, and becoming who you were meant to be.
